Reler launched the lovely editorial Rio Bravo project in 2005. It is a speach given by Rui Barbosa in the Senate at the end of 1891, when he defended the economic and monetary policy he had put into proactive as Minister of the Treasury of the provisional government. Gustavo Franco puts this important moment of Brazilian history [between metalists and papelists] into context, which currently could be seen as a debate between proponents of a fixed versus a variable foreign exchange rate.
